Wave String Properties Of Inverters Jun 15, 2018

Wave string properties of inverters

There are two main categories, one is sine wave inverter, the other is square wave inverter. Sine wave inverter outputs the same sine wave alternating current as the power grid we use everyday, because it does not exist electromagnetic pollution in the power grid. The square wave inverter output is the poor quality square wave alternating current, its forward maximum value to the negative maximum value almost at the same time, so that the load and the inverter itself cause severe instability. At the same time, its load capacity is poor, it is only rated load 40-60%, and can not carry inductive load. If the load is too large, the three harmonic components contained in the square wave current will increase the capacitive current in the load, which will damage the power filter capacitance of the load. In view of the above shortcomings, the inverter has a quasi sinusoidal wave (or modified sine wave, modified sine wave, analog sine wave and so on). The output waveform has a time interval between the positive maximum value and the negative maximum value, and the use effect is improved, but the waveform of the quasi sinusoidal wave is still composed of the folded line, which belongs to the square wave category. The continuity is not good. To sum up, the sine wave inverter provides high quality alternating current and can drive any kind of load, but the technical requirements and cost are high. Quasi sinusoidal inverter can meet most of our electricity demand, high efficiency, low noise and moderate price, thus becoming the mainstream product in the market. The square wave inverter is made of simple multivibrator. Its technology belongs to the level of 50s, and will gradually withdraw from the market.
